Re: Mirror battle....I'm losing...

I have some big'ol mirrors on mine that stay fairly steady at 70:

Passenger side one has gone with the wind and never stays in place though, so I don't bother with it any mroe. But the driver's side stays pointed and steady on the freeway.

Am I the only member that calls them "repro" parts. Who came up with "repop"?
"Repro" is short for reproduction. "Repop" is actually the name of a company that makes reproduction parts. They are made in USA, so IMHO they are the best aftermarket reproductions made. A lot of people (myself included) use the term "repop" when referring to aftermarket parts.

Re: Mirror battle....I'm losing...

I have a set of west coast jr tri-pod mounted mirrors on my 72 C-20. They work perfectly, no vibrations at any speed. They look like crap in my opinion.

I have sport mirrors on my 72 C-10. They vibrate, are small, and are essentially useless. They look great though, in my opinion.
