Who sells the best dash pads?

I have searched but didn't find much on which vendors sell the best dash pads other than LMC doesn't, they don't fit right and are the urathane/fiberglass backed ones. Anyone have a recommendation based on buying one and how it fits? Thanks

Jim

Re: Who sells the best dash pads?

while I am not sure 100% on this, I'm willing to bet there is only one company that makes them. I would pick the closest one to you for shipping cost reasons, or the vendor you feel best spending money on.

There are two styles. One has a metal insert like the originals and one doesn't. Do yourself a favor and buy the one with the metal insert..... The other one is like a limp you know what.

Re: Who sells the best dash pads?

Here's my $0.02. Look thru the list of BB vendors. They build trucks and they want the best parts they can get. They have usually built more than one truck and have researched what's out there. Most think it's better to sell a higher priced but much better quality part than to deal with problems(not saying they don't have problems but even quality parts sometimes have problems).

Re: Who sells the best dash pads?

Most all the dashes sold are made by United Urethanes or Dashes Direct.

Thumbs up Re: Who sells the best dash pads?

Bill Athey got back to me in less than an hour on the question of whether the dash pad he sells has the metal insert (it does), so he gets my vote. He has a lot of nice stuff with very fair prices.Cnut

I'll be doggone... When did they get back in the business? GSPP is one of the first vendors I bought stuff from way back in the 80's. Them and JC Whitney.
