Im going with a CPP 4 wheel disk brake kit, although it doesnt come with ball joints

My truck is a 69 but my question is do I use 69 ball joints or 72 because the 72s had disk brakes?

Re: balljoint question

Why not ask the folks that sold you the parts?

I mean, I would think they would be the experts on their own parts and what additional components are needed for a proper installation.

Re: balljoint question

Thanks man!

I wanted to ask here because everyone here has probably had more experience with them getting them to work in different years
where as CPP has probably only done a couple

Re: balljoint question

it will all depend on the spindle. My 67 has drop spindles from cpp, and after 3 years of driving on the old balljoints, mine are ready to be replaced. I called cpp, and in 5 minutes they looked up my past order and told me that I needed balljoints from a 73-87 c-10 for my spindles. Give thema shout, and they will be able to tell you for sure.
