will a 62 body fit a 69 frame?
Dont know if I should ask this in here or the 62 area...but Ill try this first..
Does anyone know if a 62 C-10 Frontend/Can/Bed fit on a 69 frame? Thanks |

not a direct bolt on, and some things will never quite look right, but it is doable.
There was a younger guy that was (is?) on here that had a 69 short step with a late model bed, his was on an early/mid 60's frame, bumpers never did look right on that truck. He sold it and got a square body, he pops on here from time to time. I went to his house one night when his HEI module went bad and he needed a hand troubleshooting it. |

you mean he mixed and matched the body? ( dont know if I read that right )
We have a frame we want to redue, then just drop a 62 truck on top of that frame.... It's actually a 64 front end, a 62 Cab and bed...hhaha make it more difficult! Oh well, we got to get my truck done (67) before we even try tackling this project. |
