OK this may be stupid but...

Is there any place still making soft tops or where you can still get a softop? As my project gets closer to being finished I don't want to put the hard top back on to many accidents and scratches.

IIRC, All of the places have gone out of business. There
was one evil bay the other day that went for $1700+.

Re: OK this may be stupid but...

I am working on a soft top right now that I want to start producing, I will let you know as i get closer, I was about to start a post to see how many people were interested, the top i am working on now is similar to the best top tiger tops and the kayline snap tops. it looks like the finished product will probably sell for 900-1000.00. If interested let me know.

thanks, chris

Would it be a fast track style (clamping style) on the sides or snaps? I just filled all the holes on the bed sides I wouldn't want to put more back in.

I am going to be looking at a blazer with a soft top tomorrow and would be willing to sell it if I purchase the blazer. You're looking for a clamping style then...full cover I assume?

yes would like the clamp style and black top (not sure if they came in other colors) I also don't mean to sound picky but this is for my Blazer that will be in restored condition so it has to be very nice.

I thought I read a while back they stopped making the tops, sux.

I'll definitely keep my eye out for you as I'm looking. What price range are you considering since you're looking for a nice one...If i run accross one on a truck I'm not interested in, I could always just make an offer on the top or give you their contact info but would like to know a range you're willing to spend.

Right now I'll probably just have to pass I have to pay my paint shop within the next couple weeks and that'll wipe me out I'm sure. I guess I'll just have to bring it up again when I can afford one. Was really just trying to find out if they were still available.
Thanks though it is appreciated!
