Re: Wanted 8-Lug Rear Disc Kit

Which differential do you have?

Dan doesn't have kits but you can find several different caliper brackets here.

The rest of the parts are just off the shelf items.

You might checkout these guys? Don't know anything about them, but what I've seen looks good.

Re: Wanted 8-Lug Rear Disc Kit

I also wanted to change mine to disc so I thought I would look into it again today. This is a link I found awhile ago about converting the Burb to a 14 bolt Corp and disc.

http://www.fourwheeler.com/projectbu...les/index.html

However, I emailed the tech's there and they called me back. Apparently the emergency brake reset on the disc brakes for the 14 Bolt in his words "SUCKS" they no longer carry the parts. Can anyone confirm or disprove this guy's opion?

thx,

Al

Send paypal to gubniatcomcastdotnet and include the year and type of axle you need the kit for. You can also call me if you want 423-737-0265 -- Shawn

Re: Wanted 8-Lug Rear Disc Kit

ybnaford, I think I'll buy that kit but is there anyway I could get it with stainless steel flex lines instead of the black rubber lines/ or just not have those in the kit and subtract the cost of them so I can some of jegs, summit, or brothers / what size of line is it... hit me back on what you think

It is very possible that he might leave out the rubber lines. I do know that you will need the line to caliper connection and that is on the rubber lines. If you give Shawn a call he might be able to work with you. Not sure the of cost savings. His paypal account I believe is different but he does take postal money orders also.
