Wasn't a Detroit Locker offered in the Eaton axle? Would the maximum traction option be the detroit on an eaton rearend? I think Yukon Jack has a detroit in histruck.
Also, the Eaton was a stronger axle than the dana 60, at least on paper. The base GVW for 3/4 tons was 6200#. The rated capacity of the HO-72 Eaton was 7200#. I'm pretty sure its bigger (physically) than the dana, too.
