I would say look at cupping the arms like this to lower it w/out spindles...several have done this on here...I think the only disadvantage is the camber when aired out.

Re: 70 front end lowring help

would cuttin the A arm be better for camber ??? I don't mind doing either or both I'm just not sure what the results would be??? I would hate to be too low if there is such a thing..lol.. I guess what I'm saying it when it's dragging it's dragging I just dont want to waste time & effort for nothing.....

Re: 70 front end lowring help

Honestly not sure on cutting the arms, how that affects the geometry...guess it depends on angle and how much...the cups that come with the brackets sit in the A-arm and end up raising the truck about an inch (Assuming you cut them down from the 2" they come stock) because of the way they fit...you can't trim them any shorter than that or the bags will rub...

The ones I showed were custom made to drop a couple inches which really end up 3" lower than someone with the cups.

Spray bomb would be much more of an expert on this than me...I saw his post on doing this and the pictures are from him or another member that did this...not me. Glad you got in touch with him
