That is sweeeeeet!

I like custom wheels and big blocks too, but if I found a truck in that great of shape, all original, with papers and 1 owner, I'd have to do a factory original restoration. Everyone restores the speciality highly optioned vehicles, but it's nice to see a simple plain jane looking it came off the showroom floor as well. Regardless, enjoy it.

Great looking truck, resembles mine alot without rust! Mine came with a 327 and Turbo 400. I like the hubcaps too, with a set of 15 x 8's, they'd look really great!

Re: Pics of my new 67

Congrats on your new '67

Mine was not in as good shape as yours. So be thankful of the condition it's in!

Very good starting point!

Re: Pics of my new 67

What did those caps come off? Those must be "clip" style wheels...did you check?

I would drop it on springs (can always put it back to the original height) and drive it as is for about 2 years before I touched anything else...LOL!

As far as i know the truck came from the factory with them, the build sheet even says chrome hub caps.
I will have to pull a cap off and take a pic of the wheel for you,i had one off the other day to see if it is a 5 lug or 6 lug,and it is a 6 lug

Re: Pics of my new 67

Great truck at a killer price - I paid way more for my '67, and it wasn't in as good of shape. I've got the black plates also - interesting that you have non-commercial plates on it- three letters and three numbers back then was for cars, and the pickups got 1 letter and 5 numbers. I think you had the option of going either way.

When i saw the truck i was on a southern Ca vette cruise last fall, and it was for sale,i wanted it but figured the owner was going to want 6k or more for it,when he told me $2500 I said this truck is mine
as far as the history on the plates i have no idea, other than they are on there way back to Ca,a forum member purchased them from me.
