Cam Swap Question???
Would a cam out of a stock 96 350 Caprice fit in my 70 350? If so would it be any better than the stock one I have now? My friend is gonna put in a new cam and said I could have the other one so I was just wondering if it would be worth putting his old one in. Let me know. Thanks

You wouldnt gain anything performance wise and you'd be out about $400+ on a set of hydraulic roller lifters and compatible pushrods . Thats a roller lifter cam.
Summit cam and lifters $79

Ok...I was thinking about a crane XE268. How would that do in my truck? I know I wouldnt get the most out of it because I have stock heads but I want to put one in that will give me some gains with the stock heads and then when I get new heads really help me out. What u think?

Plus, I don't think that cam out of the caprice has a lobe for the fuel pump? If that is true, you would have to run an electric fuel pump.
