69 Chevy step for sale (powdercoated frame)
Well, Im selling the project. I dont have the money to even work on it now. Looking to get $1800 for the truck...no motor, no trans. Plan was for a Cummins diesel motor (still have it....motor and 5spd for $2500 extra)
The best part about the truck is the powdercoated frame. It was blasted and powdercoated black. The control arms, rear end, crossmembers, and trailing arms were all professionally powdercoated. Suspension is all new...the shocks have a slight bit of surface rust on the tubes from sitting outside. Springs are new as well. New front disc brakes..look a bit rusty from sitting. The cab is very solid with some slight pinholes in the floor on the outer edges. They could all be patched. The rockers are in pretty good shape from the outside but not as great from the inside. Door are solid and in great shape. I stripped the cab down to metal and smoothed the firewall. It is in epoxy primer right now. Hood is in good shape, the fenders needs patching. I have a great 68 front clip to go with the truck (no inner fenders). The bed is in decent shape, I was going to swap to a wide bed. Could use some blasting. Set of Dodge split bench seats to go with it and new covers still in the package to go on them. Lots of extra parts to go with it... I will try and get pics of tonight...might be tomorrow. Not looking to part it out. Tim Southlake, TX 76092 Last edited by 8mpg; 04-04-2009 at 07:54 PM. |

Hey,I`m in the same boat. How long has your`s been sitting?I`ve had my frame done since 10/06.I know how it is.Good deal and good luck to ya.
I sure wish I could take the motor/trans off your hands.Wanna trade a rolling frame/cab/clip/bed for it?

Would you sell just the frame by any chance?

Can you tell me the specks on the frame? Also did you have the rear end rebuilt? What gears are in it? Does the front end have drop spindles?

Rear end is rebuilt...honestly forgot what gears are in it..I think I might still have the box. Standard height spindles.
