Which Mothers product did you use as they offer several different products including:
Mothers Mag & Aluminmum Mothers Billet Mothers Metal According to their website if you use the powerball and Mothers Metal it is supposed to bring out the luster in your wheel, just wipe it off with a terry towl and you are set.
