Rad. support/headlight bucket ?

What happens to the headlights if you use a radiator support from a 70 Chevy on a 68 Chevy. I know the 68 headlight buckets are welded on and the 70's aren't. Will the headlights line up properly in the 68 grill. I thought the overall shape of the rad. support was the same in these years, the only difference being holes in the bottom for a valence and the headlight buckets.
