Got me some new headlights, with halos :D

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem=

Got me a set of blues and ambers all for $55. Blues I'll run as daytimes and ambers as running and front blinkers.

Just ordered them so I'll post pics when I get them in and working.

I don't understand why ebay links have been funky the past few months? Andy, your link doesn't work either.

Does anyone make those for the "big" headlights yet? I like em!

Edit: I found these, but the look more pale blue/purplish than the bright blue your ad shows

Re: Got me some new headlights, with halos :D

the ones I'm gettin are 7 inch, and a member here said they fit his 72 camaro with NO mods at all.
Bummer the POS seller hasn't sent them out yet. Claimed to have "more than 10 on hand" but then he "damaged the last set"... which were mine.
Link to the thread.. .with an e-bay auction number in the thread
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=332521
I do NOT recomend the seller.

Re: Got me some new headlights, with halos :D

I just took the clear lens lights out of my truck and put these in. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=230154579500
I have the 55/100 H-4 bulbs and they really put the light where you want it.
The clear lens with the cut/grouved reflectors put out a lot of light but it was hard to direct it down the road. The ones I had would have been great for off road though.

When I had the halos in my wife would say "yep, I knew it was you because of the weired lights."

Don't buy the "projector lens" H-4 ligthts off ebay as they are junk and the bulb will melt the glue that holds the "projector" lens in the holder the first time you run them. I'm not sure that they are selling them anymore as they were so bad.

they are still on there. The douch bag I am dealing with tried getting me to "upgrade for free" since the tool messed up the ones I am waiting on.

Got any pix/video of the whole front or with the turn signal on (did you wire the amber one to work as your turn signal as well)?

I'm gonna play with the wiring and see why they are dimmer.
