Re: And so it begins................

And John, I put those rallys you sold me on the old mans truck today. They look alot "beefier" than the factory rallys. This first pic is his old wheels.

Re: And so it begins................

Did that lug wrench out of the Satellite do the trick for the spare key? I figured it would work, but did you find his old one? And yeah it does look a lot beefier. I need that same size in Mickey Thompson Bajas on my truck .

Yeah they looked silver before the tires were mounted but after we put them on his truck, they turned blue!

It's not a bad ole' truck for him either. I gotta start gathering up parts for him though. He's got several things going out on him.

Good thing about paint is if you don't like it, you can always paint over it! I've been on a satin black kick here latetly. Plan on getting busy on the engine bay with it.

Re: And so it begins................

Yeah the rustoleum is awesome for metal. I don't know how it does on plastic. Actually I haven't painted much plastic material so I'm shootin blind.

I can't seem to stop myself on this truck. I went down to Palace to look for some primer sealer in a spray can and I came out with 160.00 worth of paint gun and materials...................

Who's got a spot for me to shoot my paint in?

Re: And so it begins................

Dang man you need to come shop at my store if you shop like that!

I was reading on that gas tank stuff you got me, and it expired on 05/03/09. Think it's still good or too far out of date?

I think it's ok, It's aircraft material so they always make sure they cover themselves. It will probably be good for another couple months.

? I use lacquer thinner all the time. However, they talked me into buying the "automotive" because it's different. Who knows, have to take their word for it!
