another lowering question....will this work?
hello. i have a 72 lwb lowered 3 1/2" front 2 1/2" spindle and 1" lowered coil, and i have 3" springs and 2" blocks in rear trailing arm setup. can i go to a 3" block for a total of 6" drop? i know that i probably need rear shock relocation kit as well. i have not measured the pinion angle as of yet, but i have not noticed any problems with my current setup. at being lowered 6" will i put the driveline in a bind or is every truck different? has anyone ran this setup?

My truck is lowered 3.5" front and 6" in the back. Haven't had any pinion angle problems as of yet.....Been driving the heck out of it for several years now as well.

Yes we relocated the shocks. I can't help you much with the blocks...I've never used any.

It would work, but...with a 3'' block your scrub line will be really low...lets say you have 15'' rims. Your driving down the road when you get a flat rear tire, the first thing to hit the ground would be the bottoms of your u-bolts/shock relocators, creating a dangerous situation. |
