camper top

has anyone modified a blazer top to make a camper top for a pickup? i was looking at camper shells for pratical reasons, and realized they all look goofy, and none really look good with the body lines of our trucks... that being said, i was thinking that a blazer top could maybe be modified, and maybe it would look better than an aftermarket shell. so if youve done this or seen this, please post pics. or if you have any suggestions for it. thanks.

Re: camper top

IMHO, i think that it would be too much work to modify the blazer top to fit. nevermind the fact that you would need 2 of them to get it to work properly.

Something like this?
Ya put the tailgate down for a place to sit yer butt & ya have shade over yer noggin.

Or did you mean like the 2nd photo?
