What would be the best came to

Run on a stock 89 454. I am putting a 795cfm carb on it with an edelbrock manifold and Hedman elite headers. I don't want to put something in that is not going to conform with the low compression pistons. I was thinking a mild cam.
Thanks

Re: What would be the best came to

just get a decent rv cam, if you still have the stock heads, they suck at flowing much air. so anything bigger than an r/v cam will be a waste, and with that said, go with a smaller carb you dont need one that big. a nice 650-670cfm will do that motor just fine.
