Lug nuts for custom wheels question

I bought a set of 4 aluminum slots (15" 5 lug for 71 & up 1/2 tons) from a person on this sight and they do not have lug nuts or center caps with them.
I was wondering if anyone has ever had to find something like this and if so is there a place to go for em.
One more thing. I have looked and cant find any real identifying casting marks on the wheels so not sure what brand they are???
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Tim

If those are the old ones, from the 70's and early 80's, you'll need shanked lug nuts and washers.

Re: Lug nuts for custom wheels question

These shanked lig nuts are commonly refered to as mag-style.The shanks vary in length so ne careful to not get too long of a shank.I`d recommend not mail ordering them.We have Prp Boyd around here,do you?Bing!(sound of my memory working as I type)...I just remembered I recently bought some at a Napa store packaged as Napa parts.A good tiere store will have them "and" I know mine want you to bring one in to measure from.If not possible,as in you don`t have one, they want to get one to check with then order the rest. It`s dangerous if the shank bottoms out before the nut torques into the wheel...think sheered studs.

Re: Lug nuts for custom wheels question

I don't want to hijack, but what about the center caps. I just got some slots and they have 3 small bolts that hold the center cap on. Where can I go to find center caps?

Re: Lug nuts for custom wheels question

I wound up calling the Gorilla people that I was referred to (see above) and they had me call a place in Oklahoma City called Massey's Accessory Shop 405-239-2010.
Mrs. massey was awesome and together figured out what I needed plus hooked me up with center caps to boot......
Call them they were really helpful.
