Question 67-72 truck sale?

whats goin on, every where i look in oklahoma there is a 67-72 truck, GMC, chevys, 10's 20's and 30's, some with small blocks some with factory big blocks, customs, originals, lotsa project starters. If i had the money i would buy all the ones i have found just today on craigslist, most are pretty good prices. Anyway is it like this where you guys are from? yall noticed a trend to sell em fast and cheap, or is this the beginning of a new era to make new projects available?

I'm thinkin money is getting hard to come by and people are selling their projects to feed the family and keep their houses.

DING DING DING, you hit it right on the button! Project Cars are selling CHEAP. If you ever wanted a Harley, I will leave my personal opinion out, they are dirt cheap...like 6,000 for a nice big twin, you could not buy a Sporster for that a couple of years ago...that is if you wanted one, LOL

Re: 67-72 truck sale?

Just wait when the economy picks up and is going good,,by then many of the trucks will be bought up and all who have kept their nice ones will be in hog heaven if they want to sell thiers ..thats how it works ,,buy cheap sell high ,,it's all in the timing ..

Another note: a lot of our trucks will bite the dust durring this recession and go to the shredders and that will quiet the playing field as for trucks to restore.. I havn't said anything you all didn't know ,,just a reminder .. I really hate to see it happening ,,but it will ..

They seem to "grow on trees" here in the NW.. there are 55 of them on Craigslist just today.. and the prices have been falling for the last 6 months or so..

you got this right GOPAPA, have already seen some real nice originals being parted out to make more money and easier to get rid of a piece at a time. But on the upside have also seen some real nice originals being sold because they were never going to do anything with anyway, with some luck maybe this will give someone a chance to get a hold of one and take care of these steel beauties.
