Interesting 1948 Chevy Ute for sale (Aussie) - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

This showed up on another message board in a discussion about Aussie cars:

They have made the Ute (Utility) variants which were like our El Caminos and Rancheros from after WWII to the present. They have a UTE version of the current Pontiac G8 platform that GM was talking about importing and reusing the El Camino name. The 48 was made in Canada and exported to AU.

Wow, that's a crazy find. It's ugly and nice at the same time. I'd love to own it though.
