What are you going to use the truck for? If your using it for hauling loads of any kind, the larger hubs, brakes etc that come with an 8 lug set up are worth keeping.

If not, then covert. The wheel selection is a 1000 times better.

Since the Diesel truck craze they make a lot of 8 lug rims now.
