Chrome Bumpers

After a previous thread debating whether to put in a rear roll pan or rear chrome bumper I have decided to go with the bumper. Thanks to all that chimed in.

Does anyone know where to get a good deal on a rear chrome bumper? I am finding pretty much of a standard of $140-150 plus about $40 shipping on the various websites such as LMC, Brothers, Ecklers, etc.

Wondering if anyone knows of a sweet deal place I am not finding.

.....sure wish I would have made this decision at the beginning of April during the Portland Swap meet where I picked up my front chrome bumper for only $125 w/no shipping.....also bought the roll pan then which now I will be selling. That is what I get for changing my mind. lol.

Re: Chrome Bumpers

Do you have a local vendor? There are two down here and one in Lebanon. If they don't have it on the shelf, I order it. The prices are in line with the major catalogs and I don't have to pay shipping.

Re: Chrome Bumpers

There are a couple, but their prices are equivalent to ordering it and paying shipping. I do not mind paying $150 like all the catalogs and websites, I just hate the whole shipping thing.

Can you give me the name and numbers of the local vendors in your area. Heck, that is only half a tank of gas away.

Thanks

Re: Chrome Bumpers

Yeah that is where I picked up my front bumper (not installed yet) at the big Portland Swap Meet. Wish I would have got the back one then and saved myself some money.
