Beautiful truck, and both wheel combinations look great.

Re: Before and After Wheel change

Thanks for the complements and feedback!!

1lo67 - I will be seling the Hopster wheels and tires but I must offer them to a board member that has first dibs.

red71c10 - I bought 3 of the caps from Jerry Brown 1 1/2 years ago and found a 4th a month later. I have just under $400 with delivery into the set but the New look is worth it to me.

I really liked the look of the Hopster wheels and bigger tires but the rest of the truck is unbelievably original and well documented and I want to return it to as close to original as possible.

Re: Before and After Wheel change

Hopsters are O.K. but the caps look really really great!!!
You said you got them from Jerry Brown. Would that be "The Truck Shop" in Crossville Tn? If so, I bought a set of factory hub caps from him about 15 years ago. They were real nice, they came with a Blazer attached. I remember paying a tad more then the $400 you paid for your caps.

IMO, He is the go to guy for guys that want to restore a truck to factory specs. He has forgotten more stuff about these trucks then a guy like me could ever know. Simply the best. Jerry If you read this, do I get a discount now?

I'm also wondering if it's going back up in the air a bit. Love the stock caps.

Re: Before and After Wheel change

Chris, Joe,
ohhhh, I don't know guys. I think I like it sitting down a bit. stock appearance, but with an alter ego!

but I just can't get over how much I love it, regardless of height or rims!!! put it back to stock height and it would look like it just rolled off the lot.

Ya know Doug, I think that's the first time I've ever thought, "Hey, he should raise that truck."

I won't do it again.
