Early Rodders early Sat morning meet

Anybody in the North Los Angeles, specifically north Glendale/Montrose area, there is a Saturday morning cruise called the Early Rodders. They meet at the movie theaters at the intersection of Hwy's 2 and 210, across from Verdugo Hills Hospital. They start showing up between 6:00 and 7:00 and leave by around 9:00, and go down the hill for breakfast at Jeremy's (best breakfast in town!).

I'm up there usually every 2-3 weeks. There have been a few nice old trucks show up, inamongst the other 100+ cars, hot rods, motorcycles, etc. Really great crowd and there's a bagel shop and Starbucks adjacent to it. Sorry, haven't seen any scantily clad women yet, but the weather IS warming up so you never know!

Check it out; it's worth the drive... unless you're in like Minnesota...

Re: Early Rodders early Sat morning meet

Great pics, Sinister! I didn't make it this week, but should be up there on May 16 with some friends. If you can make it, I'll watch for your truck!

Re: Early Rodders early Sat morning meet

I don't know if I'll be going on the 16th or not. I take it you drive a '69 GMC Longhorn? If I go I'll look out for it.

Re: Early Rodders early Sat morning meet

Talk about w i d e varieties of vehicles, here is a list of what my friends and I will be driving up there.
My 1969 GMC Longhorn
1969 MGB convertible
1963 Lincoln Continental Convt'l
1957 DKW Auto Union 3=6 (Google it, funky little car)
The weather is getting really nice so it should be a fun meet. We just can't seem to find any bars open at that hour... (Tailgate party??)
