Anyone runing a HD hood on 1/2 tone?

BUT you are wrong about the newer hoods. 2003 and 2004 there was absolutely no difference between HD and non HD hoods and grilles

Go back and read my post again. You and I are saying the same thing.

2005 The HD got the taller HD grille, and a different grille.. While the hood will fit onto 03-05 non HDs it will not fit the grille properly, although the HD grille can also be swapped to make it work.

Here is a 2003/2004 HD with a 2005/2006 hood. Looks like it fits pretty nice to me. Maybe a little gap where the vertical bar met the hood.
