59' 4x4 conversion
i have a 2wd 1959 Chevy apache, i want it to have a serious lift, and 4 wheel drive, i already know that no one actually sells anything close to what i am trying to do, so a chasis switch would problably be in order, but i was wondering if there was any other way to do it. just need some help. THANKS
p.s. if it makes any difference i still got the stock 270 with 4 speed granny, everything basicly stock |

cut/chop/modify/weld/build/mount/sweat/bleed/ect... after all that Get-r-dirty! ahahaha If you need a fabrication shop with a Plazma cutting table and the knowladge to make that happen I would check out www.pacificfab.net they are just south of you in Morgan Hill. Top Shelf A+ work. They build street rods, 4x4s, custom whatever you need. The owner will be driving in the 4Wheel & Off Road Ultamate Adventure this year. (if you read thoes mags)

They a presently disscussing this type of swap in the 4x4 area. I beleive this thread has just been moved here to 4x4. Look around here for that thread and I think you will be able to get some info there.
