Rebuilt Master Cyl

My disc/drum set up was working fine until I saw fluid leak from where the MC meets the booster. Ok I purchased a rebuilt one from Kragen/Oriley Auto Parts. Did the bench bleed, now my pedal is like trying to move concrete with your foot. No fluid is coming out of the bleeder screws. When I loosen the bolts that hold the master onto the booster, the pedal move a bit due to the space.
Do I need a new booster or try a bench bleed again?

My immediate thought is that you got the wrong Master Cylinder. I'm thinking your pedal rod between the booster and the master is basically applying the brakes as the cup in the MC is shallower then your previous cup in you old MC. Thus, when you loosen the MC from the booster, you're allowing the MC to function a little bit, totally dependent upon how much you loosen the MC.

That was my thought also, I was going to switch boosters, but I need brackets for the other one. I replace the MC with another one, still identical to the last. After the install (which is in 30 minutes) I will post the result.
