my build begins
Well its time to start rebuilding my truck. It needed some body work on the bed so I picked up one in a little better shape than mine on the cheap and am starting on it first.
Heres the truck when I got it. As it sits now after I did a few things. |

Re: my build begins
I got started on the bed last week got in my Grant Kustoms full skin combo.
Got the running lights and stake pockets ready to be filled. Got my filler plate made. And welded in on each side. I got a very little warpage on the one side any ideas ho to fix the my buddy is going to bring over his stud welder to pull it out just wondering if you guys have a better idea. |

Re: my build begins
I plan on getting the body work done redoing the back half. going with bags on bars I just dont like the way its set up now. I havent chosen a paint color for sure yet but it will probally go back flat black. Not sure what I'll be doing for wheels either.

Re: my build begins
While I am shaving in the skin should I go ahead and shave the tails and reverse light? What do you guys think? Any ideas on a good choice for tails or just keep the stock ones?

Sweet!!!!!!
I've seen some guys run the tall narrow Cadillac tailights. They look pretty cool in trucks. |

Re: my build begins
I thought about the cadillac lights or the 59 caddy tail lights but I havent seen either on these trucks to know if I like them or not.
