Muncie m22 4 speed
I have a m22 muncie ive been thinking about putting in my truck a 69 c10 it has a 3 on the tree right now im just wandering how i would go about hooking up the clutch linkage. i dont know if there is a kit out there or if the linkage in it will work or if i have to fab something up.

3 speed linkage works... No fab work needed.. At least on my 68

The output shaft is probably bigger on the Muncie. Clutch spline may be different too. It should bolt right into your existing bellhousing though.

I got a straight 6 in it now but i got a 383 stroker ill be bolting it up to if i go this route.

You will need a new fine spline clutch, a larger turbo400 style yoke and maybe have to get your driveshaft shortened, and a 4speed shifter for the floor. An M-21 would probably bolt right in.Good luck

Once again, be aware that these "Muscle car" era transmissions were intended to be used in cars with fairly low gears. Once you put it into a heavy truck, the gears become more important. If you have them low enough to drive nicely in town, highway speeds are a bit restricted.
