Noob question on buckets and consoles
Hi
Just came across this site last night while surfin. Seems like a cool and helpful site. I have a '70 shortbed Chevy and I have a few plans for it down the road when I can save a few bucks. I want to start by removing the bench and putting in a set of low-back buckets and a nice center console w/ a floor shifter. There are a few good salvage yards around here. I was wondering what cars/trucks should I look for to find a nice set of buckets? Also, what kind of console will fit nicely? Late model Suburban? Avalanche? Just lookin for some ideas. Hope ya'll can help. I already read the latest "buckets and consoles" thread. There are some nice pics in there. I just need to know what kind of donors to look for at the yard. Thanks. |

Re: Noob question on buckets and consoles
73-91 Blazer & Suburban work and so do the newer onesBut,getting into the`99-up stuff they get bulkier and start cramping the cab space.
