Socket size for HO52
Anybody know what size the socket is for removing the nut when removing the hub/drum from an Eaton HO52?

Re: Socket size for HO52
Not sure about the ho52. My dana60 nut is 2 3/8" IIRC. I guess to find out for sure pull the axle and measure the nut.

Re: Socket size for HO52
Well, I was going out to the scrapyard and wanted to have the socket before hand, but all they had was Dana 60's on the C-20's.

Re: Socket size for HO52
this is what I borrowed from a friend to do mine. Its this or he said use a brass punch & hammer to loosen it out. I dont like the idea of banging the nut loose and tightening it back up with a punch. Hope this helps.
Maybe someone here knows if they have the same size nut ? http://www.napaonline.com/NOLPPSE/(S...434_0006402220

Re: Socket size for HO52
They aren't very tight, for a junkyard salvage, hammer and punch is fine, I would get the socket to put them back on.
