tranny
well my 700r4 finally did go out last thursday after school when i was following my freind home in his tractor. i went to put it in reverse and it dont do squat. in park and reverse it seems like it goes into gear but wont go out of park. in neutral i have a forward gear, in 1st it is like neutral. i know the adjustment is right externally. so really i have 2 parks and 3 forward with no reverse. so if you think that this would be a fairly simple fix with an overhaul please let me know. i am taking it to my cousins who is an auto mechanic and has his own buisness to have him help me with the overhaul. thanks

Hate to say it but sounds like your front tranny pump is out. This prettu much means a rebuild.
