Year Identification
Hey,
Was wondering if there was some info on identifying what year these 67-72 trucks would be out on the street ie. 60-63's doors are different than the 64-66's.

Re: Year Identification
The only real way is to check the VIN, that being said a person can tell by appearance if body parts have not been switched.
67-68 look a like except the '68 has side markers and normally the '67 has a small back window. 69-70 look about the same. 71-72 have 5 lug wheels where earlier years have 6 lugs. The '71-'72 have the egg crate grills. The '72 has a screw on the door right below the wing window pillar where the '71 doesn't. Also I think the rear-view mirror on the '72 is mounted to the windshield. There is a web-site that shows the differences, I think it is "pattson.com". I am sure someone else will chime in with more information. Danny
