need help
this may be a dumb question here but got to ask; ready to start tearing my frame down to sandblast, just wondering the shims thats on the upper a-arm is this for aliengment? when i paint and reassemble just put back in as they were or what? thanks guys your advice is greatly appreacited

Thats the way to do it. Those shims adjust your caster and camber of the alignement. Be sure and keep the stacks seperate and keep track of which stack of shims go on which stud on each side.

As TXFirefighter said....keep track of everything.....SO...Be sure to buy plenty of ziploc baggies and a sharpie so you can mark EVERYTHING and bag it...good luck!
I taped my shims together marked the fronts and where they were installed in each individual bags too....

Since you will probably be replacing bushings and such as you go back together these are good suggestions.Just to be sure you don't wear tires out have the alignment checked afetr it's all done.
