Re: finally made room in the garage for the 63 project
Hi
this is what i'm going to do for the 63 i have a donor 78 complete suspension with 2 1/2 droped spindles and i just got new 3 " lowered front springs from summit. the rear end i dont have yet looking for a lincoln versailles rear end(9" ford with disc brakes narrow). I will paint the truck primer black with red top like it looks now but better. i just bought a set of rims for the rear 15x10 ralleys( bolt pattern for 4 1/2 or 4 3/4 in case i change my mind on the rear end) now for the hard part for die hard chevy guys. i'm putin in it a severly loaded big block mopar engine with a turbo 400 trans. this is my 4th build on a 60-66 chevy truck (love them!!). i have had built small block chevys in them and built big blocks chevy in them.now its time for something different. i'm a chevy/mopar/buick/ford guy i love old cars and trucks! i was thinking on a hemi i have but i already have several big block mopar engines that i have built just sitting in the garage.going to save the hemi for something else. on my next project a chevy 52 3100 5 window truck im going to put a 401 buick nailhead in it! i got to be different
