Anyone else waiting on a superlift?
Placed an order with 4wheelerssupply.com about 2 1/2 weeks ago (march 27th), they told me it would be about 3 weeks as the 6 inch lift was back ordered. Well I called on Friday, they called me back this morning stating it would be at least 3 weeks until it ships again... Anybody used 4wheelerssupply before? Am I just being impatient? or would you cancel and order through someone else?
thanks for your input, |

Re: Anyone else waiting on a superlift?
I ordered a rough country lift and got in it 3 days but the lift is junk so don't go with them. I'm just trying to make a point that it shouldn't take that long.

Re: Anyone else waiting on a superlift?
yeah Ive been tossing the idea around of trying for a skyjacker lift instead of waiting a MINIMUM of 3 weeks, which to me means probably longer. Anyone running a skyjacker? Would love some input on the quality of skyjacker lifts. I'll be needing the 6" with rear blocks if that bares any significance.

Re: Anyone else waiting on a superlift?
its the same suspension as stock in the rear but the axle is a few inches forward.
i think it was a 72 with a skyjacker on the front of 4wheeler mag a few months ago. it flexed pretty good but dont know the brand forsure lost the mag.

Re: Anyone else waiting on a superlift?
I LOVE my skyjacker =-)
it's a good ride.. i have poly everything... im ditching the "dual" front shocks because it's a bit spine jarring but other then that.. with my 8in lift on my 83 i had 3/4 a chord of wood in my bed with minnimal sagging =-)

Re: Anyone else waiting on a superlift?
Watch waiting on anything too long these days.Especially if it`s not a credit card purchase.I sent STC close to $600 for a Blazer soft top and got burned by thier bancrupcy. They kept feeding me excuses and I waited.CK5 still advertised for them months after their phone was disconnected and STC`s website was up until it expired. You`d never know they weren`t still in business.

Re: Anyone else waiting on a superlift?
I was a little worried by the last post, so I called superlift directly. Talked to a fella named mike. Says he's been waitin on these leafs and that 4wheelerssupply.com isnt blowin smoke up my tailpipe. Although Im anxious to get this thing, I think Ill sit it out and continue to collect parts for my build and wait this backorder out. The price was right. Thanks for the input guys.

Re: Anyone else waiting on a superlift?
Just tried ordering my 8" superlift springs, Local 4x4 shop told me they have been trying to order springs from them for the last couple months. They told that Superlift is having bad financial promblems. Hope Superlift can pull thru this.
