supa_ru; my experience with a wing window is a little easier than i thought , first you take the wing window and frame out of the door,,with out breaking any thing,,loosen the adjustment nut with spring, right under the vent frame.
to pull the knob off ,,pry up on the cover ,careful it's made of thin stainless and loosen the nut under the cover that should get the knob off,, i used some wd-40 ,sprayed on the frame and let it sit for awhile on the wing window and eased the glass out with some pry tools you can get from Eastwood, part # 21147, or 43459, $34.99 to $44.99 for the set, you kinda have to be easy with the work or you can break the glass, so careful.
that's if your just changing the glass. good luck with it.
