65K Distributor??

Are the 65K hei distributors you see on ebay for around $60-80 junk? I am looking for a new distributor for my 350 and didn't know if you just get what you pay for with these? Should I just spend the money on an MSD? Any advice on this would be great!! Thanks!!!

Re: 65K Distributor??

I bought one 7 years ago and have only had to change the cap when it developed a crack. I changed the coil to an MSD unit only because I picked up on one the cheap.

Re: 65K Distributor??

Skip White's 65k is great. I've had mine for going on two years now, no problems.

Re: 65K Distributor??

skip white dist on the burb too, will be 2 years at the end of the summer, only problem I've had with it is the vac advance popped, but that may have been due to some idiot (me) pullin the hose off while the engine was running. Still have the original cap and rotor on it.
