What is the backspacing or offset on stock wheels?
Hi first post here
![]() Ive got a 77 chevy k10 and im lifting it 4 inches and going to run 35" mud terrains of some sort. It is my Sh*tbox ![]() Anyways im trying to figure out what the factory wheel specs are concerning wheel width and backspacing/offset. Im going to buy some new wheels and need to know what the factory specs are so i can order the right backspacing/offset to get the wheels out of the fenders an inch or two. Any recomendations for backspacing/offset for a 15x8 wheel to get the wheels/tires out of the fenders like im wanting? Thanks Last edited by rennat_2006; 06-06-2009 at 04:53 PM. |

Welcome to the site!!
If your going 4" up I would run 33/12.50/15 and on a 10" wheel and make the BS a 5-5 right in the middle. And you may get 35" on it. Trav

Great thanks guys. I want to stick with a 8" wide wheel though so i can air down more with a 12.50 tire without having to worry about blowing it off the bead.
