Sorry, I just couldn't pass that one up!

Seriously though, AFAIK, it was a 3/4 ton that was marketed toward the "slide in camper" group. I'm quite sure Greg will be back through and can give you the full details on it.

The Custom Camper option was introduced mid-production year 1965. It was an option to equip a loaded C20 pickup to haul a slide-in camper. There was quite a camping craze in the sixties. The features included heavy duty suspension, sway bar, over load leafs in rear, power assisted steering, power brakes, deluxe heater, custom comfort interior package, a 1st gen. TH400 in the models with automatics, chrome horn ring, custom trim package, aluminum grill and *****en Custom Camper emblems to set them apart from the rest.

Sweet and *****en. I use to have a camper like that it was huge and *****en. The good old days when I had time to camp.
