1972 truck build
i picked up this 1972 gmc lwb about a month ago for a song!, it only needs a motor/tranny. the truck had a 383 stroker. on the plus side its an original ps/pdb, a/c truck. the body is straight as an arrow and about 95% rust free. it has a brand new rear end with new 3.73 gears and carrier. the power disk brake system is all new. and the interior is pretty nice as well. it also has a 4 core radiator. my plans are to put a 350 back in it, and drive the piss out of it. i had a 1967 short stepper with a 283 2speed powerglide that we got rid of. i plan on turning this one into a short bed.

Re: 1972 truck build
Looks like a good project. So they converted the GMC front to 69 chevy parts?

Re: 1972 truck build
yea the front was changed, kind of sucks because i like the gmc grilles better, ive always liked the 72 chevy grilles the best, but this one is growing on me.
