Kinda been looking for a 58-68 Impala, Belair or Caprice. Looked at a couple four door Lincolns (with the rear suicide doors) and Mid 60s and older cadillacs. I'm also strangely attracted to the first generation cougars. This one is going to be a driver with the possible addition of airride. I don't mind one that's a lil rough or rusty...I just don't want any shiny painted bondo filled wavy abortions! Also trying to avoid "projects"...You know, the ones that ran when they were parked XX years ago.

Looks like somebody's already started making a car seat sofa?
If you don't mind a 4 door,there is a 58 Impala that looks pretty good from the road at a business alongside I-85 near Anderson SC-it looks like $3500 written across the windshield but I could be mistaken |

Probably the only way I'd go with a four door was if it was a Lincoln. Aside from that it would have to be an outright steal and in really good shape for me to consider having a more door.
