68 C10 w/5 lug front, 6 lug rear......A Mess!
My C10 long bed has 5 lug discs on front, probably from a 71 or 72. The guy that had it, left the 6 lug drums in the back. I don't like hauling 2 spares w/ me! The expense in changing the axles to 5 is pretty big for me right now. I've heard of adapters from 6 to 5 but haven't found them. I've seen some of the people here cuss em', others don't. Has anyone purchased good ones? If so where?

you'll probably want to see if they are even legal in wyoming first.
once someone shows you where to get the billet ones, then figure in the cost of getting new lugs and lug nuts for the rear. I'm willing to bet you can find a 5 lug rear in the junk yard cheaper (and safer) than all this. |
