DOH!!!, Today's homer simpson award winner!

Okay, SO I'm drivin' along playing with the horn button when I accidently pull it off and almost drop it. Oops! that was close. Well, I'll just pop it back on......Almost....lined.... up...... HONK!!!!!!!
Startled me so bad I dropped it. Not a big deal except there isn't enough floor board there to catch it. Well, I'll just pull into this driveway and go back for it. DOH!!! When it fell through, I ran over it. 80 peices of horn button in the middle of the street. I guess I'll just have to get a new horn button when I'm ready for a steering wheel. Guess that's what I get for pickin' at the truck while I'm driving it, huh?

I had an old VW bug that had the horn mounted under the front fender. the bracket rusted off and it fell off and yep, I ran right over it. I feel your pain, but I'm still laughing.

Damn, I'm sorry dude. (I just about spit coffee all over the keyboard) I feel guilty for laughing though, honest!
BTW, was it original? I have 2 of those in fairly decent condition.

Sorry man , had to show my wife when I'd finished laughing to prove my truck is actually not that bad! I can recommend a trash bag wrapped round a flat cardboard box and some duct tape as a cheap alternative to a floor, cheap warm and waterproof (k=just try not to step on it!) LOL

Laugh it up, fellas! Actually I had to sit back and laugh myself last night. Oh well, It was the button that came on the truck, but on the bright side, it was all that nice.

I guess you'll have to just stick your head out the window and yell "HONNNNK" HONNNNK"!. I got a spare sandalwood colored horn button, but wouldn't be worth the shipping cost, .
