step side tail lights
ok i noticed that 1987-95 Jeep Wrangler Tail Lights look exactly like like the tail lights off of the 73-87 step side so does that mean that after market jeep taillights would bolt right up
heres a few pics of some of the jeep taillights...i just wanna know your guys thoughts oh yeah and here is a stepside tail light

Re: step side tail lights
jeep lights mount to the back of the jeep and the back of a stepside are side mount. Might have to fab a bracket but I would imagine its doable. My uncle bought some trailer lights at harbor freight for $15 and mounted them to his ford stepside. Just another thought...

Re: step side tail lights
yrah many trailer lights fit too. On mine I am planning on something different like a classic light or some kinda LEd setup. I am going with something different from factory just for fun. Do keep in mind if you switch to LED you would need to get an electric flasher relay for your turn signals to function proper.

Re: step side tail lights
Well now those are not something that i would put on my ride especially for 170 bux!
If you go to my truck web site you can see what i did with some junkyard parts and for less than 20 bux and some of my time and i bit of imagination the neet thing about our stepsides is that the custom taillight possibilities are endless unlike the fleety guys! you can do something way better than those lights you posted yourself and have pride in telling people you did it and save a bag full of money too! Good luck |
