What year is your loved one...I mean Truck or Trucks?
I thought it would be interesting to see how many models are out there. Do you have a 67-68, 69-70, 71-72. It doesn't reflect what is your favorite modle year because I have a 1970cst though I think I like the 67-68 models a tab better, but the 70cst was what I found when I started to look for a 67-72 truck back in 2000. Since some of you have more than one model year...multiple voting will be allowed. Lets see which model year gets the honor of being the top dog. Gentleman...start your voting.

Re: What year is your loved one...I mean Truck or Trucks?
Well... I cast my two votes. I'm a little partial to the square hoods vs the sloped hoods of the '67-68. I also love the egg crate grilles on the '71-'72 but have to say I am being drug to the other side... for some reason.

I had to check all three but the '67 is my favorite. Maybe because it looks older, like me.. LockDoc

Re: What year is your loved one...I mean Truck or Trucks?
My 67 chevy with the small back window is my first love. That is why I am practicing my restoring skills on the 69 first LOL. The 69 will have a 71-72 grill when it is done.

Re: What year is your loved one...I mean Truck or Trucks?
I'm very happy with my '71, but I will always love the '68's best because that's what my Dad had when I was a kid. He had it for years and would take my Brother and me everywhere. Hunting, fishing, to the store, to the dump it didn't matter. When he finally sold it to my cousin, he got a '76 Scottsdale that was a much nicer truck, but I'll always miss that '68. My cousin took it to Alaska and I never saw it again.

Re: What year is your loved one...I mean Truck or Trucks?
'70, same vintage as me.
I started out liking the '71-'72 egg crates the best, but with enough time around these classics I'm liking them all. |

Re: What year is your loved one...I mean Truck or Trucks?
My loved one's a 61. Oh I see you mean vehicles. My Blazer is a 72 But as you can see I prefer 67-68. I know they did not make 67-68 Blazer But I love the look of mine with a 68 front clip. Don't get me wrong I like the look of the egg crate grill but the slope look just took my preference.

Re: What year is your loved one...I mean Truck or Trucks?
My truck is a 72 Custom/Deluxe Long Fleet but my favorite is a 68 Short Fleet.
The perfect truck for me would be 72 short fleet with a 68 front clip, that way I'd have all the best ( in my opinion) 67/72 parts and looks.
