th400 shift linkage

my truck has a powerglide transmission and I want to put a th400 in it. Will the shift linkage off the powerglide work or do I need to buy all the linkage for a th400.....let me know

You know I'm not sure, but I do know that the Powerglide trans was a two speed automatic and the TH400 is a three speed automatic. Good question...

Hopefully someone else will chime in and save me...
