73-80 fleetside sport bumper on an 81-87?
Has any of you ever installed a 73-80 fleetside sport bumper onto an 81-87? I like the ends of the 73-80 bumper better. I see part numbers for the brackets are different, so I'm wondering if a 73-80 bumper with the same year brackets would work.......

I vote to keep it original.
But,... if you decide to go 73-80,... I have a set of used gravel guards that go on top of the 73-80 sport bumper brackets that I would trade for the 81-87 version..
