Wood bed Help!
Thanks to GMC Pauls I have all the measurements for the fleetside wood beds. However the only thing I still need is the bolt holes that have the of set washers? Any advise on how to go about building the wood floor (from scratch) would be great. I have the wood and have milled it to 3/4 of an inch.

You do have the option of not drilling those holes just counter sink the wood from underneath to clear the bolt heads. This practice seems to be fairly common. This is what I am doing. I am in the process of installing my wood bed right now.

I don't have the location of the off-set washer mounting holes, but here's the rest. Hope this helps?

Last week I found the hole pattern from here and the size from GMC Paul's I then cut it to size drilled the holes and made it up with the rest of the box. The only tricky part was finding the hole to frame locations. I found these but the cross supports and by testing the box on the truck. Thanks It was really fun to mix wood and metal. The students I teach REALLY bought into this part of the project. Many laughed at the idea when we were making up the wood. Even the test fits in primer were laughed at, once painted and assembled however their jaws dropped!
